Avonview Kennels is a small facility where our springers live with us in our home. Our priority is our dogs health and temperament. We have litters on occasion. I am a member of the CKC, ESSCC (was Vice President for 2 full terms), Glooscap Kennel Club I am the Treasurer and event organizer, and Evangeline Kennel Club I am the Vice President and Show Chair. My dogs participate in agility, obedience, scent detection, conformation, and St John’s Ambulance Dog Therapy Program (including there Special Needs Program). All my dogs have there health clearances including OFA hips, elbows, PRA test, plus annual CAER examinations on all breeding dogs. Our dogs are tested for eyes, hips, elbows, and thyroid at the appropriate ages as are any brought in to our breeding program. All of our breeding stock is DNA tested for PRA Cord 1.
